I'm an affectionate, open-minded, easy going individual with a positive and confident disposition. I am sincere, non-judgmental, spontaneous and fully intend to make the very best of life until the day I fall off the perch. I have a good sense of humour, a good heart and always willing to try new challenges.
I have two sons who have now flown the nest; one living about 15 miles away and the other who flew a bit further, roughly 3000 miles across the water and now lives in Nova Scotia.
I enjoy traveling around our UK, just love visiting historic Welsh market towns, the old towns/ villages around the Cotswolds, museums and historic architecture plus visiting other countries and really enjoy popping over to Nova Scotia to catch up with my youngest and his girlfriend.
I like spending time outdoors i.e., cycling, time in the garden and keeping the house in good shape and now that I have a little extra time on my hands, I spend more time swimming. I enjoy walking particularly along the coast, I sometimes think that in a previous life I may have been a sailor sailing the seven seas or even a pirate, on the other hand I may have been just a seagull, which may explain why whenever I pass someone eating fish & chips at the seaside, I’m always tempted to pinch one!
I enjoy a good laugh whether it's at life in general or from time to time at myself.
