About him
My passport lies, and as Mark Twain said "Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter".
Altruistic, and we should all be a bit like that; kind, empathetic and loyal. Great sense of humour, and can laugh at my own expense. Lived in many countries over 40 years, North America to Asia and some less salubrious points in between. Nearly 30 years in Eastern Med/Middle East. Lived in Greece and learnt enough Greek to survive in business. I still travel in Europe, no longer excited about long distance travel, but would do it with the right person. Prefer a time machine to commercial carriers.
Fit & active with indoor and outdoor bowls several times weekly (not 10-pin!). No medical issues, other than some loss of high frequency sound. Have recommenced gliding after some years absence. Life got in the way.
Very curious about the world around me, hate negative talk around AI, it has far more positive things than ever discussed in the media. They only see the dark side of the subject.
Volunteering with two charities to help those less fortunate in life. It doesn't take much to get involved, it's just time.
Have recently bought an electric bass guitar, but I'm slow to pick it up. Maybe I should learn bongos? Time seems to gather in pools elsewhere.

Attractive, petite, good sense of fashion without necessarily spending a fool's ransom to achieve the 'look'. Must have a good sense of humour, and maybe an interest in current/international affairs. Don't want a connection to a lady who only wants to wine & dine. Must be a music lover (but not rap or acid rock, please). Have moved away from classical rock & pop (unless re-mixed). I wanted an uptick in musical knowledge, even though 'house' has been around since the 1980's Chicago. Smooth jazz, soul, blues and house are my frequent listening choices, plus more recent musicians like Sophia Bromberg, Tom Odell, Love Spells, sombr, Haevn, Olivia Dean, Izzy Bizzu, Peter White, Parcels, Hania Rani - there are too many talented musicians to list. And not forgetting Andreas Vollenweider, the finest harpest in Europe for over 40 years. He has some excellent short concerts on Youtube! I often wish I had become a musician instead of an engineer.
