Care and Consideration works both ways. I have a good sense of humour and am a straightforward, helpful, kind person. Not an extrovert, or an alpha male, so no skydiving, mountaineering or extreme adventures for me, but like to be active and out and about. My hobby business is now too time-consuming, so i will be keeping my eye in, but reducing the commitment. 10 years after being widowed I would love to do things as a couple again - and, yes, there is still a glint in my eye! I have always appreciated artistry and skills across many fields, (being bereft of any such skills myself); hence I find Music concerts, live gigs, art galleries and comedy uplifting; browsing antique markets or poddling around little streets and quirky shops interesting; meals out, a walk, and the odd film a pleasure. But I'm equally enthusiastic about cooking a meal at home, relaxing, and watching a Netflix drama with a glass of port in the evening.
I need to be respected and appreciated for myself and given some attention (as i would you) - sorry, cant take second place to your pet - I'm a one to one person, somewhat reserved in groups, although not clingy and with my own interests. I'm reasonably informed about latest world and local events, but we wont click if you tend to be left of centre. Love the seaside, especially my frequent visits to my home area of South Devon. A stroll along the prom or visiting a different place, followed by a coffee, a chat and then that evening meal, gig/ film, or just a cuddle would be ideal.

I guess I am looking for a friend, a partner, and a confidant - a sympathetic, moderately sensible, but bright and loyal lady - to hold hands, be tactile, share quality time and interests, and hopefully have fun (& games!). Would you mind a bit of steampunk, a pirate day, or a 40's weekend, and dress up accordingly? Someone with empathy; at times sharing and contributing to special moments; at times happy just being close; at times robust and positive; at times caring & supportive; at times sensitive; at times sensual. A tall order, but we all have our different personas and needs. What I dont need is the stress of manic activity, a must-do bucket-list, or being a constant traveller. That said, at our age we are now free to enjoy days out and breaks in those lovely places and parts of the UK, and maybe the odd jaunt further afield.
Despite all that we all need our own space and its not a firm requirement that the lovely lady shares my strange interest in paperweights, although appreciating my jokes is certainly compulsory!
