Hello there! I'm a friendly, easy-going soul with a warm sense of humour and a positive outlook on life. I believe that everyday life offers something to learn or laugh at.
I'm just as content enjoying the company of others as I am spending some time on my own. In fact, I think it's a good thing to be comfortable with oneself. I'm still working part-time, which keeps me active and engaged, but I also relish my leisure time.
What I Love
Reading & Writing: One of my greatest pleasures is getting lost in a good book. I have eclectic taste, from gripping mysteries to thought-provoking non-fiction. I also dabble in a bit of writing myself – nothing too serious, mainly website articles.
Music: Music has a special place in my life. My playlists can jump from classic rock to a Mozart symphony without missing a beat. Rock, blues, jazz and classical are my usual genres.
Outdoors & Walking: I absolutely love spending time outdoors. There's something rejuvenating about walking in nature – a ramble through the countryside with my camera, a stroll along the beach.
Dining Out & Dining In: I'm a bit of a foodie at heart. I enjoy dining out, exploring quaint pubs or cosy restaurants and trying different cuisines – from a hearty Sunday roast in a cosy pub to a spicy curry. For me, it's less about what's on the table and more about the company and the enjoyment of the moment.
Life & Outlook
At this stage of life, I would say I'm open to possibilities and new experiences. I've learned not to take things for granted and to appreciate the simple joys – a sunny morning walk, a beautiful piece of music, a good laugh with a friend.
