About her
We're all on here for much the same reason, we may have lost our partners through illness, death or divorce, we are looking for someone to share a small part of our present lives, perhaps in the hope that that small part may become more. But if you don't take the initial steps to meet then you are losing opportunities that may never come this way again.
When I think back over my life, which was full of mostly lovely people, people I met socially, I doubt if any of them would have appealed had they posted a photograph and a profile!.
! But you meet, you talk and even if you have no shared interests, there is always some kernel of interest which can grow into something unexpected, if you let it.
Finding friends this way, on-line, seems to make people judgemental or nervous or just apathetic. Which is really a shame, the more so as one ages. We have all collected memories along the way, sometimes it's fun to share some whilst making new ones.
For what it's worth...I'm articulate, non judgemental, ever the optimist, I value good manners and kindness. I'm a good listener and enjoy good conversation. I'm very independent and capable.
I'm always smartly but casually dressed, dislike sloppiness.
I own a car and enjoy driving, even if you live further away I'm more than happy to meet you halfway.
