I have positive, happy, and upbeat view on life. Forward not back. I love a good laugh and don't take myself too seriously.
I like to have things to look forward to but equally I like spontaneity too. Equally happy going to the theatre and cinema as well as catching some good TV at home.
Looking for a partner to build an honest, loving, passionate, and mutually supportive relationship. I'm a great believer in that indefinable 'chemistry.' It's there or it's not, and when it is you know it. I'm a romantic at heart. Tactile and warm.
No longer needing to do paid work I am into persuing new experiences and rekindling old friendships. Looking for fun and happy times with a new partner.
I was born and grew up in the North West but I have lived the majority of my life in Hertfordshire. Moving to West Sussex later in 2026.
Over a long period I worked across most parts of England. My career was as a CEO with several housing associations.
My friends have described me as bright, honest, caring, romantic, generous, kind, witty. A bit bohemian but someone who also values tradition.
I love music, a wide selection - from rock to folk, through to light classical; and movies, theatre, art. My favourite sports are soccer, tennis, and rugby.
I like to keep in shape with walking, jogging, and gym work, but I'm not an obsessive.
I take a keen interest in current affairs, and I have a long established friends' group who I share thoughts and comments with. We don't always agree, which is fine and part of the fun!
I am a regular visitor to most of the larger London galleries. I love being in London just for a wander.
Equally happy out in the country, I always have my boots in the boot!
I am a Freeman of the City of London and I enjoy attending events at nice venues. I do like dressing up from time to time but my preferred mode is casual.
