About him
I am a retired Chemical engineer, having spent many years working within the oil industry. I have had a wonderful life working and living all over the world with my career.
Having been a widower for 2 years, I would now like to look to the future and spend time with someone with whom I can share my stories and my love of good food and fine dining. I love the theatre, mostly enjoying Opera.
I have been very active during my life, with a love of sports. I now enjoy watching rather than participating. I watch many sports, including cycling, rugby, cricket, admittedly more lately to pass the time.
I am often described as having a quirky sense of humour. My PA quite often rolls her eyes at me and shakes her head!
People say I am generous and I am always willing to help, if I can.
The future looks sunny, I can't wait to get out and about with someone special.

My ideal match would be kind, warm and gentle, I am quite a quietly spoken man, and don't like too much noise or fuss.
I am looking for someone to spend quality time with, chatting, theatre trips, going on days out and maybe further afield if it suits.
