Others describe me as a bubbly, chatty person, eager for new experiences, wishing to make the most of what life has to offer.
I am an outdoors type of person, loving long walks in the countryside; cycle rides, exploring new places, both at home and abroad. Cruises, however, not for me.
Spontaneity in life, I feel, is important; a spur of the moment weekend away, a surprise meal out,a concert, a cinema trip.
But then, perhaps, just at the moment, one of the most fun things I do is visiting my delightful, baby grandson, crawling around on the floor with him playing chase!
So, what do I dislike? I dislike those who sulk; let's just talk and resolve any misunderstanding, have a hug and laugh.
My likes - theatre, opera, most kinds of music, dancing, swimming, even a little time spent in the garden encouraging the vegetables. I am adaptable, so no need for you, too, to enjoy such activities. It would be good to learn from you too. But then too, it is also good on a winter's evening to curl up by the fire with that special person just lazily chatting.
I am interested in intelligent, open minded people with an adventurous spirit and a philosophical outlook on life.

My ideal match would be kind, gentle, have a warm personality, be considerate of others and not put themselves first. You would have a sense of humour, as well as a sense of fun. You would be easy going and not take life too seriously. Like me, you would be adaptable and accept the differences in our personalities, rather than trying to change them.
Above all, respect, on both sides.
We all need a certain amount of space to ourselves, but to share a hike with a pub meal at the end, would make for a perfect day.
