In His Own Words
About him
Time for honesty. I worked as a fisherman, a “Butlins”man, in meteorology, a Heinz statistician, a Cathedral lay clerk, sax in a Big Band, theoretical physicist, music composer, Arts Council opera and Jazz, University Lecturer in Physics, Head of a University Music Department, Chartered Engineer lecturing in Mathematics, living for a few years in Florence, Vienna and Venice. After all THAT lot I am happy to do NOTHING for the rest of my life! Anybody want to join me?
The Secret Waters of the East Coast have always been where my soul resides and Music is where my heart is most happy.
“If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.”
- Albert Einstein
