About him
Hello,
I saw a huge amount of butterflies this summer and that’s surely a good sign about our care of our world.
After years in management I enjoy being out in the Big Green and stravaig weekly and occasionally loup into lochs with my friends , some who I was at High School with.
I will stop and smile at sudden sunlight , ask to pet passing dogs and invariably chat to strangers in queues.
I am active and enjoy creating whether digging in fence posts , writing and performing my songs or learning a new skills online - I am now trying out writing.
I am curious and whilst learning something new I’ll chuckle at the stumbles along the way as mistakes are just helping us to get it right.
I now find the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune another opporchancity to learn and perhaps grow.
I have travelled around the world and I am enthralled by British and Scottish history and can now revisit the places of interest which I previously whizzed through.
My children are adults and they are happily getting on with their own lives and I love laughing and playing with the grandkids.
I have my baggage sorted and labelled and mostly given up on carrying it around.
So butterflies and a cuppa, café langue or chai - why not indeed.
And we can discuss the important aspects of life . Such as why I can never find my Gregory Pecks - yet I can remember the first verse of " Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep"?!
..... and now you are singing.... "Where's your Mama gone...where's your Mama gone ...". 😆
