After an international business career I have settled down in Medway, but have still a second home and a summer cottage in Finland, where I spend some time mainly in Summer.
A good sense of humor is important in life. it makes it easier to meet difficult times which unfortunately occur every now and then. Love, loyalty, honesty, frankness, respect of others, caring of nature and animals are among the values to success in life.
My main interests are traveling, cooking and history. There are still many interesting places in the UK and abroad to see. Knowing history makes it more interesting to find new places and have a richer understanding of their role in the world. Eating good food and learning local cuisine as well as culture matches well with traveling.
On the cultural side I am interested in theatre and literature. Walking, swimming and skiing keep my body in a reasonable shape.
But anyhow the home is the best place lo live. I like cooking. It is a nice way to relax. Nothing beats a peaceful time at home with a true friend,

I am looking for a true friend who shares mainly the same basic values with me and who is interested in doing the same kind of activities together. We don't have to agree on everything, but it is important to be able to discuss about different issues and also to come to a conclusion that we have different opinions in this issue. I am too old to argue.
