About her
I am a kind, caring and a put others first kind of person. I am generous, easy to talk to and funny. I like to share a laugh with others, having a whitty and daft sense of humour in one! I originally come from North Manchester and frequent it when visiting family and friends.
My background is in Sport with Art a close second. They have always been my passion and where I feel most inspired and moved.
I have been physically active all my life so do not feel the need to fall into a category of wanting to take part in sport/exercise daily, but have the ability to if needed. Currently, I prefer to pick up a paint brush than run on a treadmill, but I am aiming to do more weights for healthy living reasons for women of my age, taking care of myself both physically and mentally is becoming a priority as I get older. In my younger years I was interested in motorsport and held a bike license, this changed when family came along but still enjoyed watching it.
I love to travel and there are still places on my to do list. I love to make a house a home and I am happy in my space with the people I love around me. As I’ve got older, I’ve learnt to let go of things and people who do not contribute any positivity to my world. I’ve learnt to be open to change, to accept that everybody is different and to not accept second best.
Like a lot of other women, my first job is being a mum. I have two amazing older sons who inspire me everyday. They live with me but spend time at their dads. They are at the age of wanting more independence, wanting me to go away more so they can demonstrate their ability to look after themselves!
This is my first time online dating, it feels strange to not dance around a handbag on the dance floor like I did all them years ago. I’m here, I know what I want and I know what I don’t want, I am open to waiting for the right one rather than rush just because of time.

I would love to share my time with someone who is happy to laugh at themselves first, who is happy to sit in comfortable silence and someone who is able to balance discussions about meaningful topics along with a load of light hearted rubbish.
I am interested in people who are nonjudgmental of others. Who are not getting grumpy as they get older and are not back seat drivers.
My ideal match would be someone who is ready for gaining some quality time learning to be in love all over again but still has place to bring some quality life skills to my sons. You don’t need to be a replacement father, but open to developing some brilliant minds.
I still feel there is more to come from me personally, so it would be nice to meet someone who is happy to support and grow with me, whilst doing their thing. Someone who is open to letting me in to a whole new world of theirs.
Of course, I do like good food and fine dining but a bonus would be someone who makes a good cup of tea and happy to have gravy with their chips!
