This is my third re-write of this! - First one I just put anything here during the joining process. Second very recently but not happy with it so here we go again!!!
If you've got this far, I'm assuming there's either intrigue or attraction and thought i'd give you the short version of me....
I love to spend time outdoors and would ideally like someone who shares that love and can be by my side and challenge me. But that does mean you need to be a particular type of person. So....Trying not to upset people, I would like someone who is already active and loves nothing more than getting out into the great outdoors. Loving the couch and watching TV has its place but not when the sun's shining or it's not raining. If this is your main source of entertainment then unfortunately, we're not going to click.
I love to go out to restaurants for a romantic meal just as much as a bar meal after a long exhausting walk.
I haven't seen as much of this world as I would like so that's another target for my future.
I'd love someone who is pro-active rather than reactive - someone who would be willing to organise weekends away or short breaks. It's exhausting if the social side of life is a one-way street!!

There has to be a physical attraction initially or it wont work. So please, give me a chance to reciprocate by including at least one photo I can view - Don't understand why anyone would be on a dating site without including a photo.
If you don't like my profile or, more importantly, my photos, then it really is OK to move on and leave me behind - we can't always be attractive to the opposite sex. Honestly, I'd rather have contact from 1 serious potential partner than lots of "likes" that raise my hopes without being really interested.
I really like an intelligent female who can appreciate my humour and, more importantly, can challenge me. I don't claim to be super-intelligent but love to "cross swords" with someone who can hold their own in discussions. For the record, I don't mind losing a debate...occasionally. Good fun and I take it in the right spirit!
Loving intimate dates at a good restaurant just as much as watching a film with a decent bottle after a home-cooked meal would also be important. I like to cook and to be cooked for and I love a quiet night in the height of summer sitting outside with a log fire and peace and quiet (or watching the bats fly around silently).
