I'm kind & thoughtful and have a good sense of humour. I'm reasonably intelligent. I'm an optimist & non-judgemental.
I dislike liars, big-heads, bullies, controlling or coercive people & men with facial hair (beards and/or moustaches).
I love reading fractionally more than I love shoes!
I enjoy meals out, visits to the pub, trips to the cinema/theatre (these have been few & far between for the last few years) & the occasional game of ten pin bowling.
I don't watch much tv and never watch 'soaps'.
I enjoy good conversations. I try to keep abreast of the news but am apolitical.
I've worked in education among other things.
My philosophy is 'each to their own' so long as nobody's hurt by another's behaviour.

I'm hoping to meet someone who's a good conversationalist, fairly intelligent with an interesting personality & who is kind with a sense of humour.
I'd like to meet someone with similar interests to mine (shoes are optional though!) for companionship, meals out, drinks etc preferably a car driver.
Looks are fairly unimportant but they must be a reasonably smart dresser with good personal hygiene.
Long fingernails are a definite no as well as men with facial hair (eyebrows excepted!). These last 2 are deal breakers.
