About him
Humour is probably up there and intellect (I know, but there it is). I read for joy, write for stimulus, debate for enlightenment, garden (slowly) walk (even more slowly) cook (really). Dislike Trump, chilli, racism and reality TV. Not athletic or sporting, would not sit and watch that stuff on TV either - not a sports couch potato!
I like the beauty in the world around me - both natural and inspired by people's artistry. Top of the list has to be music (others have to make it): symphonies, concerti, opera, chamber compete with Joni Mitchell, swing, folk, and 60s pop. But also the art of film, theatre, painting and design (mostly avoiding avant garde)
Retired from most things now but maintain my brain by reading, writing, some volunteering, talking, dreaming.
I am an inveterate optimist, I love my neighbour, give what I can give, enjoy sleeping, and yes, I do like to talk.

She will be warm, kind and affectionate. She may or may not align her interests entirely with mine but there will be lots of things in common and she will be tolerant and as willing to compromise and learn as I will be. Please don't be a smoker - can't do it, I'm afraid.
