I’m a nice guy with a friendly personality. Friends would describe me as confident, caring and good company; dedicated and loyal to those around me.
I have 2 adult sons who are well settled in their independent lives and who I have a great relationship with.
My core values are probably integrity and honesty and I really appreciate mature, collaborative relationships based around those values.
I retired a couple of years ago and enjoy having the time to spend on my hobbies, but I do miss sharing some of those interests with a partner in crime who is on the same wavelength.
I keep fairly fit by running regularly and like countryside walks, swimming and cycling, but I'm no gym freak!
Music is an important thing in my life too; I love listening to live music and also playing guitar.
I'm a practical person, a "fixer", and enjoy restoring old things to give them a new lease of life.
I really enjoy getting away on adventures, whether short or long; near or far. Sometimes that’s on my motorbike with a tent strapped to the back, but I wouldn’t call myself a “biker”. It’s just something that I find adds to the sense of adventure on travels (kind of like having a mechanical horse!) I'm happy to do the bike thing myself - although it would also be cool to find someone who wanted to join me in that.

I've got to a time and space in my life where the responsibilities of raising a family and working are in the past. I love spending time with my family, but also now want to be selfish in my pursuit of happiness. Are you a person that feels the same?
