I'm kind, reasonably emotionally intelligent but inclined to talk a bit too much. I write / compile information for a living, but it's not as interesting as that may sound. I'm leftish. I like Brooklyn 99, Harry Hill, Charlie Brooker, Bloom County, Scandi crime thrillers and I think It's A Wonderful Life and A Muppet Christmas Carol are the best Christmas movies. I can't stand Borat or Mrs Brown's Boys.
I'm not a big listener to music and a bit stuck in time - preferring 80s, 90s and 00s tunes I guess, but my taste is a bit more eclectic than just that. That said, the last album I bought was by Liam Gallagher, I think.
My profile says I work full time, but I work 32 hours a week.
If you're looking for someone who will do the three peaks with you, accompany you on loads of overseas holidays or camping trips or talk knowledgeably about football, move along - I'm not worth bothering with, so stop wasting your time, move on (and good luck with your search).

I'm after a bloke who's intelligent, has a sense of humour and doesn't expect me to go on long walks. Ideally someone who is quite happy pottering around galleries, antique / junk shops or people watching over lunch (or tea and cake). Someone who's not averse to talking politics from time to time and is bit left of centre, likes Test Match Special and doesn't mind sharing me with a fairly chilled out cat.
