About him
I am slim, retired, and basically a 'country boy' as I love living in and exploring the countryside. From a very young age, I was brought up in the country, which explains I guess, why I just feel at home amongst nature and all it has to offer.
I love working in my garden which also helps me to keep fit of course. I also try to walk every day and when I can, venture on new walks as they are more exciting to me and are a sort-of an mini-adventure that I never tire of. I do not particularly enjoy driving into towns and cities but will do if necessary.
I love breaks away, even for a couple of nights, as they are great at re-charging my battery.
I try to eat well and am a pescatarian at heart, although, I do eat chicken very occasionally.
As for hobbies, well it's the gardening to be honest and I also play in a 60’s band which is great fun. I don't watch tv much although more in the winter when it’s time to close the curtains and maybe light the fire for a more cosy evening.
I have one sister and one brother within a couple of miles which is great, with my second sister 1/2 hour away.
When I'm relaxed, I am a bit of a tease and a mimic I am told.

Mmmmmm', I guess someone with similar likes and dislikes to me. Somebody who is retired would be great, so we are not tied down too much giving more time for ‘us’. Worth a mention, someone who does smoke would be a definite no no sorry. Someone who can cook rather than heat up ready meals would be a plus. Someone who would love to take those breaks (both short and longer) with me and do the walking and relaxing. For example, Derbyshire which is a favourite area of mine, or further afield, the Lake District which I try to visit at least once a year. Even further, France with its scenery, historic buildings, chateaux and of course, the slow pace of life.
