In a nutshell…
I am honest, positive, enthusiastic, loving, kind, thoughtful and caring. I have experienced most of life’s ups and downs. I enjoy homebuilding, gardening, keeping fit, the gym, cycling, walking, meeting with friends, dining out or a quiet time together in each other’s arms.

I have worked in Central London, the South East and the South West of England. The best places to live were Wimbledon and Bath, both were simply wonderful.
I was lucky enough to retire from my working career at 55 in 2010.
From 2010 I took the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my mother in Lytham St Annes, helping and supporting her.
In 2016 I bought an old Staffordshire barn thinking it would be an easy short-term project following which I would be able to quickly move in. Enough said, I’m still working on it now and not moved in yet. The barn is set in open countryside with only the original Farmhouse as a neighbour. The silence and stillness are a wonderful tonic for a lifetime urbanite like me. I must get it finished!
I love walking hand in hand, arm in arm, sharing experiences, enjoying and celebrating good times and working through the tough times together, combining our strengths to achieve our goals.
I love the countryside, the fresh air and sunshine, sheltering from the rain huddled together. Coming home together and just being as one.
I am looking for a likeminded soulmate with whom to build a future of loving, respect, tolerance and understanding, someone who has a storey to tell and wants me for who I am.
