About him
I have a natural curiosity; I like to travel and see new places whether far away or near to home, to date I have visited over eighty countries on six continents. I enjoy good company, good food and wine and getting to know people from all walks of life. I hate gyms but like to keep as fit as possible; my dog takes me a walk twice a day and we often do much longer treks, I have recently completed the 800km Camino Frances which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I like to keep active; I am on the board of two local charities and volunteer for a community transport charity which is great fun. I enjoy reading, music, visiting galleries and exhibitions, pretty much anything that broadens my knowledge and horizons. I am not into sport, I have fairly eclectic musical tastes and I prefer the radio to the TV.
I am optimistic and tend to see the positives rather than the negatives in life; my cup is definitely more than half full.
