I hate writing about myself for these things - everyone tries to present an idealised version of themselves, and it's always fiction... I once asked someone what it was that had attracted her to me in the first place and after we'd got past the "Gravity" and "I was pissed" and "You were available" stage she eventually took the question seriously and said "Well, everyone had gone on about you being intelligent, but what I liked about you was that you were always kinder than you needed to be".

Do ideal matches exist? I suppose I've always liked those kitchen matches in the big box with the... sorry? Oh. Right. Not that kind of match... sorry... well, someone with a sense of humour for a start, or at least something that passes for one, so I can steal their jokes and pass them off as... no, no. Strike that.. Well, picture an outdoorsy, athletic, determined woman who can smile while climbing mountains and has the urge to throw herself out of airplanes or off bridges on the end of a bungee - now picture another woman curled up in a chair with a book laughing at her as if she's insane - that's who I want... someone who'd rather be cuddled than fight gravity and plummet to almost certain death on a regular basis.
