About him
I've been widowed for 4 years now. I'm retired after two very different careers in business and healthcare. Photography is my main hobby but I also enjoy walking/hiking, heritage, the arts and travel. Music interests range from jazz/blues through to classical, and I attempt to play a bit of jazz guitar fantasising about doing a set at Ronnie Scott's :)
I'm pretty easy going, tell one or two good jokes, and prefer jeans to suits though I have an equal number of both.
I live five minutes from the beach and sometimes get my feet wet walking the shoreline contemplating life, the universe and what I'm going to have for dinner.
More seriously, I’ve found this quite hard to write and the light-heartedness above is probably reflective of a bit of anxiety in joining this site. I like to think that I’m kind, considerate and honest, and have a good sense of humour. I’m equally at home in the outdoors, in town, socialising or just sitting at home watching a movie or reading a book, and would probably give most things a try at least once! I'm a supporter of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and can often be found wandering around one of the reserves or attending events.
