I think my friends would describe me as strong, determined, loyal, intelligent and fun-loving.
I love walking on bright, crisp winter mornings, cycling (not at competitive level), relaxing in the sun, keeping the garden tidy (as opposed to full on gardening), music (due to see Madame Butterfly, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and Elvis Costello so far this year). I love my family - warts and all - and am going to Cartmel Races with my brother, his wife, children and dog(!) in the summer. I’m a firm believer that you can’t let being single stop you doing things, so I’m hoping to go walking along the Wild Atlantic Way on the West Coast of Ireland later this year and maybe white water rafting at some point - who knows?! Life is for living!

I’d like to meet a partner in crime; someone with a similar outlook on life, who would like to try new things. Someone who is happy to have a lazy Sunday morning watching Sunday Brunch one week, then dining out in a fancy restaurant trying recommended wines (preferably after midday) the next. Where do I start? It's really difficult to cram into a short space how fabulous Jayne is, but I will give it a go! I've known her for approaching 20 years and she is my best friend. Jayne is so much fun to be around, be it kicking back for an afternoon having a good catch up over lunch and copious cups of coffee, for an outdoor hike or dressed up for a couple of cocktails. Whatever we do, we spent most of our time almost crying laughing! Jayne is also not afraid to try new things (clearly more than me, having recently turned down her recent idea of front-first zipwiring for charity - yikes!).
She gets on well with different people and I feel I could ask her along to any social or work situation . We became friends via working together, she has always been well-liked and I know how much her colleagues continue to value her because she is fantastic.
Jayne is respectful, compassionate, deeply caring and empathic. She turns up, gets involved and makes an effort for people. She also wears her heart on her sleeve, so you had better be kind!
I see her profile says she her favourite clothes are shorts. I think I've seen her wear them once! She's not afraid of walking boots and I'd say she loves getting dressed up too, she always looks smart, has great style, knows what 'goes' and definitely has va-va-voom!
I count myself lucky that she is my friend and think that any potential partner would be darn lucky to have her - but only if they promise to take good care of her!
