About her
I had to ask the people who know me best - my children describe me as kind, the best as hugs and a yummy cook. If that doesn’t hook you I don’t know what will!
I’m a teacher by day, tired single parent by night, and in my spare time I enjoy writing, reading, going for walks in the countryside with my little dog, going out for meals and to see films (less so since Covid!), and catching up with friends and family. I like the simple life, I own my own home in a town but aim to move to a small village within the next few years and live my ideal cottagecore life! The thought of waking up every morning to birdsong and becoming part of a small rural community brings me much joy and peace, and this is a non-negotiable point for future partners!
I can get very caught up in my own head (I have ADHD/anxiety but this mostly presents as daydreaming, hyper focusing or procrastinating), but it would be nice to find someone worth staying in reality for. Someone logical and down to earth who is the yin to my yang. I am creative and thoughtful, I love going the extra mile to make the people I love smile, and loyalty, trust and kindness are some of the most important traits I value. I want my life to have some meaning, I want to leave the world a better place than I found it.
I consider myself pansexual/asexual which can be problematic in terms of dating… we can discuss this more when we get to know each other. I want an old fashioned, sweet romance.

My ideal match would be somebody kind, introspective, hopeful, open and understanding. As a single parent I’m generally only free every other weekend, so any potential partner would be understanding about the slow pacing of dating. I would ideally like someone who is good at communicating and who has done a lot of work on themselves before choosing to date.
I’d love to share cosy nights in and adventurous days out with someone, laughs and good food, building a relationship based on shared quality time.
For me a deal breaker would be smokers, cheaters, and Tories.
