I count my blessings; a roof over my head & I'm debt free. But I have Dark Moments; that's when I know to turn off the news and take a brisk walk. A distrust of ALL institutions from the 'Royal' family down. I'll make an exception for the RNLI.
"Comparison is the thief of joy" & LIFE IS FLEETING. Wasted far too many years on the 'what if's. I'm a handful after a 3 glasses of wine, yes. I was once called "an agent of chaos". I replied "It's a badge I wear with pride!". Don't fear! In person I am very mild mannered, polite, & will always step into the road when passing a lady.

About his ideal match
Someone with outlook beyond the filtered (to quote Leon Strauss) 'necessary illusions' presented to us in the media. Someone well traveled, not simply abroad/exotic as you can travel and discover in your nearby environs if you turn a different corner. If you have a 'status' car/house/set of fingernails I'm glad for you; but if you're overly materialistic and into conspicuous consumption then I suggest you look around at what that is doing to the planet.
Can you 'wing it' in any situation? Cook a meal from fridge leftovers? Own a messy car but a spotless kitchen? Can you change a tyre in lonely lane in a rain storm with no phone signal? Open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew? Cook mussels in white wine? Know how to fillet sea bass? Pluck a pheasant ĺike a pheasant plucker's son? Know when to turn off the f**king Gogglebox? Loathe U2/Coldplay/Ed f**king Shearan and Tarentino's movies? Then you've pulled!
