About him
Well travelled professional, I am now settled as an incomer in Cornwall. Having spent my working life in public service, I've spent much of my retirement (so far) researching my family history and helping others do likewise.
I enjoy walking the coast paths though would be happier to do that with someone who also enjoys our magnificent countryside and coast.
I enjoy photography, reading, writing and cooking. I have been a member of the U3A (currently lapsed because of Covid restrictions).
When I first retired I lived in Burgundy for 10 years, however, I'm far from being a fluent French speaker. I moved back to the UK before Brexit.

My ideal match would be a lady who has similar interests to myself but who would still like to follow her own pursuits. You would be taking care of your health and appearance. Ideally you are tactile and enjoy hugs and cuddles. You should not take umbrage at being offered old fashioned courtesies.
