I am a happy person who smiles a lot. I don't like bossy people I think you have to give and take and not be one or the other. I like DIY ( i have built my own house) and like travelling in my Land Rover camper van. I have driven all round the world in my previous Land Rover. I love food and eating out as well as cooking. I like to read when i am away travelling and watching tv when at home. I am optimistic about the future and will do my bit to save the planet. I have two daughters, four grandsons and three great granddaughters all of whom i adore.I have two grandsons living with me while they save up a deposit to buy their own house. Sadly my wife passed away three months after returning from the round the world trip in 2012. We had been married for fifty years.

She should be a happy person who mostly sees good in other people but not be fooled by them. I do not like arguing and therefore would not like to upset my partner but on the other end i am not a walk over. I would like to travel and partake in the culture of other countries. In fact i am hoping to go to Southern Africa next September for six months travelling in my land rover and would like a companion to share the adventure with me . Someone who would get excited at the prospect of seeing all the fantastic animals, birds and the country.
