Optimistic, happy, kind, honest, sociable and fun loving. Always curious to get to know new people and places and learn new things. Wide range of interests, including travel, languages (I speak and am learning several and love having the opportunity to practise them!), music, reading, gardening and films. And dancing! I love dancing! I am very interested in the spiritual side of life and enjoy quiet times as well as lots of activity.
I am a retired languages teacher and volunteered to teach English to refugees and also helped out at my local primary school with reading for non-English-speaking children, and I loved both these activities. But then the lockdown struck!
My family is very important to me – I have four grown-up children and four grandchildren. I also have a beautiful labrador who I love taking for long walks in the countryside or by the sea.
