About her
Hello, I am passionate about life in general, my work (archaeologist, museum curator), music (play the piano, choir singing), arts, nature (outdoor activities), animals, travelling, and love my friends and family (parents). My friends describe me as intelligent, very open-minded, interested in other peoples' lives and experiences and what is going on in the world, compassionate, kind, loving and caring. I am open for the opportunities, challenges and people life presents me with, as I see them as opportunity to grow, learn and enrich my own life and make a positive difference in this world and to other people's lives. Looking back, every experience, however scary or difficult at the time, has turned out to be a blessing in disguise and helped me to become who I am.
Came to the UK and Oxford from Germany (and a couple of years living and doing research in Cyprus) 12 years ago for what turned out to be my dream job because of its versatility. After concentrating on my career, building up a life here for myself making some friends, I am now looking to expand my circle of friends with women and men around my age to actually meet up in person for sports, other leisure activities, walks, exploring the countryside or historical sites, concerts etc. I am also ready to meet that special man, with whom I can connect on many levels and am compatible to share love and life with.
Looking forward to meeting people close enough enough to Oxford for us to actually meet up in person to find out if we could or would want to be friends and/or more.

Well, I am looking for two kinds of people here, both of which should be of good character, values, reliable, honest, genuine, authentic, know and accept who they are (both strengths and weaknesses), and what they want and need, and can communicate that:

2. That special man, who can and would want to become my love and life partner.
Obviously, my requirements, e.g. for body height, body type, level of education, intellect, mindset, ambition etc., are different for prospective friends or life-partners. Have friends from all walks of life, education levels and all "shapes and sizes", and with very different experiences.
