I've both a philosophical and a fun side and I've done a lot of interesting stuff, as of course have you, so there are many great conversations waiting to be had! Glass half full but that's probably because I've drunk the first half ... there's nothing better than accompanying a good chat with a good wine, and lockdown has shown us that you have to make the most of those special moments.
I'm a kind person who likes to assume the best in others not the worst; if ever there's ambiguity I'll seek to clarify and probably tease you rotten while I do it.
My hobbies include the creative, the outdoors and the intellectual so there's bound to be something we have in common. I especially like company in order to make the most of the outdoors (lockdown hasn't helped!) so I'm hopeful for lots of outdoors activities now we're free(ish) - and I'm keen to have someone to try out my Masterchef ambitions on so we'll also have a lot of kitchen time. And talking of kitchens, I love playing kitchen bridge (with wine, of course!) - thank goodness for BBO, it's been busy over the last year.
I still work, and am lucky to love it but I work to live not live for work. I will always create a sense of purpose for myself, but work is only part of this. I believe that you continue growing (ie self-development) until you die.
I love new experiences and I'm confident a journey with me will be time well spent whether we end up as friends or something more - hopefully the latter!
