I have a happy disposition and try to look for the positive in most things.
My friends would say I am a solid mate, reliable, trustworthy, a good listener, empathetic, kind, helpful and too trusting for my own good. Fun to be around and up for a laugh usually at someone else's expense...lol...
I am ex emergency services and my training has given me a confidence to carry thru into my every day life, I think I handle situations calmly and am unflappable.
On a personal level my last 20 year relationship has left me questioning my whole life, having insecurities about my body to the way I dress and my day to day life.
I don't play mind games and what you see is what you get, all be it not that pretty first thing in the morning.
I enjoy all the usual things, beach countryside and woodland walks, I am just as happy with a bag of chips on a park beach with my man as I would be with a posh restaurant, visiting National Trust sites, historic places, visiting national forestry areas with the dogs, visiting farmers markets, car boot sales, pub lunches, picnics in the park, 10 pin bowling, and a quiet night in my local. Theatre visits and west end shows, night clubs are out I can't cope with extremely loud noise and tightly packed crowds.
I don't play any sport as I am waiting for a new knee, but would like to learn to play green bowls, maybe its something we could do together and I have also wanted to try line dancing, I do play a mean air hockey and darts.
Music tastes are everything except jazz.
