About her
Although I am an octogenarian most folks I meet find this apparently difficult to believe and ask me where my wrinkles are or what cream I use. And most also remark about my high energy levels. Which I must have inherited from my mothers side of my family. I endeavour to walk between half an hour and a hour each day. I am an experienced carer. I like playing board games, listening to music. Prefer classical and bands, instrumental. I enjoy cooking and have had many culinary successes.
I have done much volunteering with Age UK and others. Had over ten years as a volunteer drive with a Link organisationStarted and run a charity to further the understanding of epilepsy. I like and am an experienced carer. My motto is to “use it or loose it”

In January 2019 I joined the widowhood club and am now thinking there is probably a lonesome person in my age bracket who would appreciate friendship. I am an experienced cook, Am fairly good at dealing with technology in the form of computers. Like travelling, visiting interesting places and I enjoy listening to music. Have secretarial and typing experience. My car insurance lists me to drive 7000 miles a year to make certain I am able to do this in my 80’s I have completed a driving awareness course for senior citizens. It would be nice to have company in some of my travels whether I am driving or being driven. Life is too short to let it drag by being lonely. Sharing is so much more worthwhile. So I am hopeful that it will not be long before there is someone who would like for us to meet and see how we get along.
