About him
After too many years in the world of work ,its time to smell the roses, both metaphorically, and literally , in my and other peoples gardens - although I'm better on the veg side ,and could use some artistic input for the rest !
An over 60's medical review made me join a gym ,lose weight and get fitter ,and I'm actually starting to enjoy it . Now retired ,I can appreciate walking in the countryside again- the crunch of leaves in the autumn and the renewal of the spring always brings hope to an optimist .
I like heading out for a few days to somewhere new - there are so many towns and villages to visit in this country ,and a short haul to somewhere sunny is always a bonus in the winter.
Friends and family tend to get together around my kitchen table .They seem to like my cooking ,which I would describe as traditional fare ,but with good local ingredients (and a lot of wine......which may be the reason..).

I am looking for someone to share this madness they call retirement - we are not old - just more experienced in life. It would be good to do things together ,but also have our own separate interests as well - the differences are as important as the similarities .I would hate to be part of "That Couple" that you never see on their own !
Regrettably I am allergic to cats - dogs are no problem - I probably could use the exercise.......
