About him
I am a retired research chemist, consultant and university teacher. I loved teaching which has kept me young. I am interested in philosophy, humanism, music, literature, films. Dabbled in photography. Like cats and dogs. I like eating out and enjoy good conversation. I like walking and like to keep fit without being obsessive. My job has involved me in a fair amount of overseas travel and I love visiting interesting places. I especially love to visit oversees friends and relatives. I am keen to visit New Zealand where I have relatives descended from my Great Grand Uncle. I come from 3 generations of boat people and Great Grand Uncle, like my G G Grandfather, G Grandfather and Grandfather was a Midlands boatman.
I believe we should try to make the most of the cards that life has dealt us. I am a romantic optimist (or idiot, depending on your perspective). I look forward to meeting you whatever the outcome. We have nothing to lose.
