Peter is a close mate who I have known for nearly twenty years. He went to University with my husband Col, and ever since then we have all been good friends. He is a good guy, someone who once you take the time to get to know him, gives an awful lot back.

He is a great friend for calling up and suggesting "lets go and do something", and will try most things once, and most things more than once!

If you want a passionate and intelligent conversation Peter is your man. If you fancy sitting on the back of a motorbike feeling the wind in your hair then he is your man too. If you want to meet someone who can be a good friend to you, and also an interesting and stimulating companion, then, I would say, get in touch with Peter.

"A sleepy little finger presses Bach's Passion of Saint Mathew at around 9, eggs, flour and milk are coerced within minutes to make pancakes and a flick through Time Out to see what's on in London herald the day in. Peter's appetite for debate will be whetted after several column inches of the Independent; an appetite to be satiated later that night over a glass of London Pride at a café. After a 45-minute spin on his well used bike to clear his mind, he arrives at the local station and takes himself and his bike on the train up to London to see the "Art of Light" exhibition at the National Gallery, reading on the train journey. Just enough time, before cycling down to the Thames at Hammersmith to have a meal at a restaurant with a fellow photographer. Don't you just
love those chipotle mushrooms. At around 4, it's Baisers volés at the cinema with a friend from university, Sophie, who is over to see her fiancé. Any excuse to see a French classic. There's a table for 6 booked at a lovely Thai restaurant, where he can indulge his passion for good cuisine. And at about 10, he'll finally get the chance to say why he doesn't agree with Matthew Sweet's article about celebrity biographies in the paper."Why not make this and every day even more special by being part of it?"
