About him
I would like to think that I am reasonably intelligent with a GSOH,although it does tend to be with a dry,sometimes ironic side.I am ( I think ) pretty casual and easygoing,but capable of holding some quite strong views on times.
I have two children,both married,and one grandson,fortunately they live quite near.
I miss being part of a couple,the kissing ,the holding of hands the shared private little jokes but above all the intimate little looks that sometimes mean more than words can ever say.
Anyway !!!...To move on.
I am very much a classical music lover and enjoy both listening at home and going to live concerts and plan on going to the Proms this year.
I enjoy watching rugby very much and particularly follow the fortunes (good and bad) of Wales and also enjoy watching cricket.
I have a keen interest in news and current affairs.I very much enjoy the nature programs and particularly the David Attenborough ones...What an absolutely remarkable man, who has done more than anybody I think to raise our awareness of the wonderful and beautiful world which we live in and yet are in very real danger of destroying.
I have really enjoyed holidays and travel,and loved Canada for the spectacular scenery and the wonderful people.I was really taken with Berlin,for the history and the culture.My ambition - and...yes !!!...I still have them - would be to visit South Africa.For some reason it has always been a dream of mine...Cape Town...the Garden Route...Stellenbosch...Cape of Good Hope...and,above all else...Safari...one of these days !!!!...Just allow me to dream about this...it's a harmless enough past time

This is the question that I have been putting off for a long time,and even now,I know that I am going to struggle with it so please bear with me as I put this in a little bit at a time.
The one thing that I know would be a "deal breaker" would be no smoking...at all.
I would like to meet someone who is warm and affectionate with whom I could share good conversations about all sorts of subjects,a good laugh and who enjoys good culture ie concerts,theatre,shows,and good taste in food and drink.
