It would give me great pleasure to tell you that I am over 6ft tall, a great dancer, a brilliant cook, play a great game of bridge, really good looking, but all this would be an untruth, as I am none of these things regretfully, so please if this is what you are looking for, then please read no further.
So who or what am I,. Well I consider myself Mr Joe average, I am 76 years old, I am a widower having lost my wife in 2011 after 50 years of a loving marriage, I own my own 3 bed roomed house, drive a nice car, and have no baggage, also I am solvent. I have 4 children all living very close and getting on with there own lives, I also have numerous Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren, so I am very family oriantatedI should state at this point that I do not want to get married.
I am a little old fashioned in the way I like to treat a lady , and I am very loving, caring, honest trustworthy, reliable and a one man one women male, I don't play games and I am certainly not looking for one night stands.
I do like weekends away either in the Uk, or Europe, holidays abroad mainly in Europe,pub lunches, days in /out, nights by the fire with a glass of wine of beer,

it is probably every older mans dream to meet someone younger than himself , and I am no exception, however I am realistic and that these things only happen to very few.
So I would like to meet someone around my own age (or younger) preferably around my height, living close to each other would be a bonus, although I am prepared to travel a reasonable distance. Someone who is slim to average, takes care of themselves in appearance, a non smoker, solvent, likes some of the things I like, and is prepared to accept me for who I am , someone who likes to be treated as a lady, who has no existing baggage, who is reasonably fit and is looking for a loving relationship.
