About him
Old rocker shuns cosy fireside hearth plus trusty companions of pipe and slippers in favour of the great outdoors, bikes and running shoes.
Fit, healthy, affable combined with dashing good looks...maybe not the last, now happily entering the twilight zone. I don't intend to let the lights dim on me; I aim to keep them burning brightly for a good number of years yet.
To that end I'm actively involved in both running and cycling, participating 3 or 4 times a week in an effort to remain fit. I really enjoy the challenge, both in terms of doing it and motivating myself to do it, certainly gets harder as you grow older. However there is the added bonus of being able to eat and drink virtually what I like and also puts me in the position of being able to try, however badly, any other sporting activity that I haven't experienced to date.
Metaphorically speaking I would consider my glass to be predominantly half full rather then half empty, of course there is always an exception to the rule and in this case it's my beer glass which figuratively speaking tends to behave somewhat differently, especially if it contains a pint of Betty Stogs (Google might come in handy here).
I love to be outdoors whether it's on foot or on my bike, I'm always interested to see what's around the next corner. I could never spend a holiday laid on a beach or by a pool for 2 weeks I love activity and like to explore.
Bit of a dinosaur when it comes to music, I cut my teeth (and still have them) listening to the music from the late sixties and early seventies and predominately still listen to that genre of music today. I particularly
enjoy the music and talent of Rory Gallagher; he can quite simply be summed up as Guitar, Jeans, Tee Shirt, Audience, Action - say no more - Legend.
Whatever the future holds it would be nice to share it with somebody, not necessarily with somebody who is like minded, more somebody who can bring different experiences and interests to the party.

I would like to meet someone who is compatible with me and wants to be with me faults and all. Preferably someone who takes an interest in keeping fit and loves the great outdoors and music. Someone with who I can experience a different outlook on life and can also share some of their interests and dreams.
